5 years ago to the day, I was in a dive bar in Olympia, hating my job, and single. Because of a discussion about this song, and about 10 beers, I got enough courage to shamelessly hit on a co-worker of mine and we’ve been dating ever since.
Okay, so it’s been a while since I posted but I’ve been busy.
After hunting for an attorney position while working a political job with the state, I’m finally a real practicing attorney! It’s a great job with a small employment law/commercial litigation firm in downtown Seattle. The people are great, I have a big office to myself, and a great view.
In somewhat sadder news, the legislative session is starting soon so that means Will has officially moved two hours south for the next 5+ months. It’s horrible not having him at home every night, but it’s made the weekends a lot more enjoyable in comparison.
